College Access Counseling

My firm, College Access Counseling, Ltd., works with adults and organizations who counsel and support first-generation and minority students on the way to college. I teach the ins and outs of the college process, helping them build social and cultural capital for their students. Click here for more information. I also write for NACAC's blog, Admitted. You can read my entries as well as some of my colleagues', here. Click here to read one of my entries in the New York Times's blog, The Choice.

This photo is of me in the MA State House in Boston. I was there with Dale and it was hotter than hell. We had taken the train and were staying in town so it wasn't too bad. We saw Paul Revere's house, Old North Church, and even a little church festival in the North End, where we had the best Italian ice EVER. It was Dale's first time in MA, so it was a big experience for him. But even though he's originally from the Philippines, it was too hot for him as well, so one day we escaped to a movie.
